Ali Nuhu is a Nigerian actor that acts in both Hausa and English movies. He has acted in hundreds of movies in both Kannywood and Nollywood. He is also a producer and directs movies as well. He won the award of the best Indigenous actor in 2011. He is known as the ‘King of Kannywood’ and with good reason. He has propelled the careers of many actors and actresses in the industry.
Just like Naziru Sarkin Waka, Ali Nuhu also has his quirks. One is how he prefers English wears in his movies instead of traditional wear. The actor is rarely seen in the Hausa traditional kaftan in movie scenes. This might be because English wears are more comfortable to move about in, or it could simply be because Hausa movies, like Indian movies, tend to have a lot of songs and dancing involved. Not that one cannot dance in a kaftan, but it is more restricting than simple jeans and a shirt, though he prefers suits to anything else.
It’s either kaftan or suit for the actor, and he kills both looks. Suits, especially well-fitted ones, always look good on him. It is probably why there is another reason why he probably wears it that much.
